My last day in the university...

The class we had this morning was very useful for me.
I usually work with dictations in my classes but I have never worked with the kind of exercise we worked this morning. I think that if every teacher tries to adapt the text chosen for the groups he or she has this exercise can work very well in classes with many students as the ones we usually have in Argentina...

Another day...

The class we had this morning was VERY, VERY interesting... I knew many things Shirley mentioned but what shocked me was the great quantity of games she showed us!!! All of them are very easy to prepare and very easy to play! I think that most of my students will enjoy all of them very much when I come back!
It was incredible the way in which she put all the theory of intonation patterns, suprasegmental features, stress and all that into practice through games!!
Now... the thing is how to implement those games in the classroom... I think that I will have to think a little bit about the best way to do it catching my students' attention...
Ok... that will be my job!!!

Trying to put everything into practice...

I learned many different things this morning . Now the most important thing is the way to put all this into the practice, this is main reason why I'm here... to learn and to put then everything into practice... with my students!
One of the ways in which I would put all this into practice would be for example to prepare new activities with mys tudents.

This week will be a success if....

If we try to learn as much as possible, if we share as much experiences as possible, if we speak in English as much as possible and... the most important... if we consider this experience as a unique opportunity to get fluency, vocabulary and to know the American culture!
